Mudiarts

The beauty of Africa, the color black as well as the African culture are the subject of my paintings. I am Andrew Idemudia, and I see myself as someone who creates Art.

In my paintings, objects and people from different levels of existence in the African race are brought together in scenes that seem to take place outside any average conception of time. My inspiration is drawn from my mum, the beauty of God and His creation, the African culture, the colour black, and resilient people.

Working in oils on canvas, I use rich tones that oils provide to give my paintings a strong physical presence.

My dream for my work is for my art to one day travel all over the world and be in important places and galleries.
