Black Owned MB ("we", "us", "our") respects your concerns about privacy. This privacy notice (the “Privacy Policy”) discloses the privacy practices for (the “Site”). 


What does this Privacy Policy cover? 

This privacy notice applies solely to information collected by this Site. It will notify you of the following:

  1. What personally identifiable information (“personal data”) is collected from you through the Site, how it is used and with whom it may be shared.

  2. What choices are available to you regarding the use of your data.

  3. Security of personal data.

  4. How you can reach out to us with any concerns regarding your personal data.

Information Collection, Use, and Sharing

We may collect personal data that you choose to provide to us through the Site, including, but not limited to, your first and last name, web address, e-mail address, such as when you:

  • Sign up to receive news and updates on the Site;

  • Sign up to a feature that we offer on the Site and you provide your personal data in connection with that feature;

  • Attend an event that we or one of our business partners has organized;

  • Communicate with us (for example, on a social media platform or by sending us an email);

  • Respond to a survey.

Our web servers may log information such as your operating system type, browser type, domain, and other system settings, as well as the language your system uses and the country and time zone where your device is located. The web server logs may also record information such as the address of the web page that referred you to our Sites and the IP address of the device you use to connect to the Internet. They may also log information about your interaction with the Sites, such as which pages you visit. To control which web servers collect information by automated means, we may place tags called “web beacons” — small files that link web pages to particular web servers and their cookies. We may also collect information from your browser, such as your browsing history, and use it in conjunction with data gathered from forms and e-mails to help us understand and respond to your needs.

Where the information gathered is completely anonymized, the information will not constitute personal data. Where your personal data is not in an anonymous form, our legal basis for processing your personal data in this way, is that it is in our legitimate interest to continually evaluate that personal data in operating and improving the Site (and to ensure that the content we provide are relevant to the market) that is not overridden by your interests, rights and freedoms to protect personal data about you.

Social Media Widgets

The Site includes social media functions, such as Instagram, Twitter and Facebook widgets. These widgets may collect information about which pages you visit on the Site and the IP address of the device you use to connect to the Internet. The widgets may also set a cookie to ensure the features are functioning properly.

Social media functions and widgets are hosted either from a third party or directly on the Site. Your interactions with the social media functions and widgets located on the Site are governed by the privacy policies of the companies that provide them. If you use any of the social media functions or widgets on our Site, we strongly suggest you review the privacy policies of the companies that provide those functions and features.

Information That We Obtain From Third Parties

Information that we collect from third parties will generally consist of publicly available profile information (such as your preferences and interests), for example from public social media posts.


We will not sell or share your personal information to any third party or use your e-mail address for unsolicited mail. Any emails sent by Black Owned MB will only be in connection with the provision of agreed services. 

Will You Share Any of the Personal Data that You Receive?

We may share your personal data with third parties as described in this section:

Affiliated Businesses: In certain situations, businesses or third party websites we are affiliated with may sell or provide products or services to you through or in connection with the Site (either alone or jointly with us). We have no control over the policies and practices of third party websites or businesses as to privacy or anything else, so if you choose to take part in any transaction or service relating to an affiliated website or business, please review all such business’ or websites’ policies.

Our Agents/Volunteers: We employ other companies and people, such as vendors and third party service providers, who work on our behalf and provide us with services related to the purposes described in this Privacy Policy. These parties include:

  • Email service providers

  • Payment processors (e.g. to receive and process your credit card transactions for us)

  • Fraud prevention service providers

  • Analytics service providers

  • Staff augmentation and contract personnel

  • Hosting service providers

  • Co-location service providers

  • Telecommunications service providers

Unless we tell you differently, our agents do not have any right to use the personal data we share with them beyond what is necessary to assist us.

Business Transfers: We may choose to buy or sell assets, and may share and/or transfer user information in connection with the evaluation of and entry into such transactions. Also, if we (or our assets) are acquired, or if we go out of business, enter bankruptcy, or go through some other change of control, personal data could be one of the assets transferred to or acquired by a third party, and we would share personal data with the party that is acquiring our assets. You acknowledge that such transfers may occur, and that any acquirer of us or our assets may continue to use your personal data as set forth in this policy. 

Protection of Black Owned MB and Others: We reserve the right to access, read, preserve, and disclose any information that we believe is necessary to:

  • comply with applicable law, court order, or respond to valid legal process, including from law enforcement or other government agencies;

  • prevent spam or other unwanted communications and investigate or protect against fraud;

  • Maintain the security of our products and services;

  • protect the rights, property, or safety of Black Owned MB or others.

Consent: We also share information with third parties when you give us consent to do so.

Your Access to and Control Over Information


You may opt out of any future contacts from us at any time. You can do the following at any time by contacting us via the email address given on our website:

  • See what data we have about you, if any.

  • Change/correct any data we have about you.

  • Have us delete personal data that you have provided to us.

  • Express any concern you have about our use of your data.



We take reasonable precautions to protect your information. Personal data is maintained in a password protected file and access to personal data is limited to Black Owned MB except as otherwise described herein. Although we endeavour to protect the privacy of your personal data that we hold in our records, we cannot guarantee complete security.

Updates to Our Online Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically and without prior notice to you to reflect changes in our personal data practices or relevant laws. We will post the updated version and indicate at the top of the notice when it was most recently updated.
