To change the world, one needs to start within themselves and their community. The bigger goal is to provide adequate support for the indigenous communities in Canada. To do that, I am starting in my city Winnipeg and slowly expand. Most indigenous communities in Winnipeg and Canada lack basic access and human rights that a non-indigenous individual has. To name a few, most indigenous communities still do not have access to clean water, public funding, and the internet. Indigenous People have been facing systemic discrimination in accessing public services in the province. That is not right, and I want to change that.
